Do I Need a Trained Labor Investigator?
In investigations, time is always of the essence for obtaining accurate statements. Whether representing plaintiff or defendant, the most thorough information comes from using an experienced investigator. HR staff may not always be qualified in investigative techniques and are frequently too close to issues and witnesses for objective reporting. An attorney should never have to worry about being a witness in his or her own case after having acted as the investigator. Use the services of an investigator:
- with HR certification
- licensed
- insured
All workplace issues are addressed:
- harassment
- discrimination
- bullying
- fraud
- theft
- security breaches

Policy and Procedure Audit (PPA)
As a strategic tool in on-boarding executive staff, a thorough and well-crafted PPA can make the difference between a fluid process and a minefield of consequential discoveries. Coming up to speed in a new company filled with eager faces but outdated policies wastes an executive’s judicious use of time. Working with government contractors and global affiliates emphasizes the importance of learning key policy information as quickly and accurately as possible. The logical choice is using an unbiased third party with the experience of a trained investigator. The PPA takes an organization’s vital signs and reveals it’s true state of health.
Post-Exit Interviews
This services conducts exit interviews via telephone of former employees up to and including exitees of six months. We use a set template of questions created by either the employer or the interviewer, which can be supplemented with optional extended inquiries, as deemed appropriate. Our third-party interviews give employees the an opportunity for confidential candor, which is valuable since exitees are often among the first to warn of as-yet discoverable actions. We present interview findings in a comprehensive report that includes the reasons exitees cite for termination of employment, and previously unreported workplace problems and their suggestions for improved hiring, training, and promotion of staff.
